What's New
Congratulations to 2014 Kentucky Youth Storytelling Torchbearers: Logan Burris from Partridge, Channing Cahoe from Bardstown, Sierra Hatfield from Benham, Madison Rose Justice from Ivel, and tandem team Abby Murphy & Cole Vaughan from Bowling Green. Visit the Youth Storytelling page to learn more about the Kentucky Youth Storytelling Program. To learn how you can help young tellers develop their skills, attend the Pre-Conference, “Developing Student Storytellers” on Friday November 7th and then stay over on Saturday for the full Kentucky Storytelling Conference. Visit the Conference page for details.

September 8 – 14 has been proclaimed Kentucky Storytelling Week by Governor Beshear. We encourage you to celebrate storytelling in your community. Tell a story. Listen to stories. Hold a storytelling open mic, liars contest, or story slam. Visit with your friends and family; put down your electronic devices, and talk story. If you let us know what you are planning, we will post it on our KSA Facebook page and on this website’s Event Calendar page. Go there now to see what events are already planned.
