KSA Mini-Grant
Guidelines

Any KSA member may apply for a matching fund mini-grant up to $500 for projects that support the KSA Mission and one or more KSA Goals. To apply, members will need a project partner and a source of matching funds.

Note: A KSA Member who is under 18 should apply with help from a parent or guardian who will sign the application form and the grant agreement form if the funding is awarded.

Funding

The KSA mini-grant program provides matching funds of up to $500. Support from your funding source must be at least 1/2 cash. The additional 1/2 may be in-kind services from you, your partner, or others involved in your project. To assess the value of volunteer hours as an in-kind service, use $10 per hour.

For example: to request $500 in matching funds from KSA, your funding source could provide $500 cash, or your funding source could provide $250 cash and you would also identify $250 in in-kind services.

Note: Although ticket sales, registration fees, and merchandise sales are all sources of income, they may NOT be used as funding sources for your KSA grant request. Basically, we are asking your funding partner to promise to provide you with money for your project even if ticket sales, registrations, etc. do not cover your entire budget.
